Calvary Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 60-32 loss at the hands of Shalom Christian Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Calvary Christian Academy in their matchups with the Flames: they've now lost eight in a row.
Shalom Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Addison Adams, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Chloe Martin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six steals.
Calvary Christian Academy's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Shalom Christian Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will face off against the Lions at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. GVCS Broadfording presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the in Maryland (the Lions are ranked 120th, while the are ranked 263rd). As for Shalom Christian Academy, they will take on the Knights at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
