Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson Academy). They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over the Copiah Academy Colonels on Thursday. Considering the Raiders have won six games by more than five goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Copiah Academy from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Ben Jones led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0-1.

Jackson Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Richland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Copiah Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brookhaven Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
