The biggest upset of the week belonged to Memorial, who took down 241st ranked Memorial, 44-19.
Liberty extended the longest winning streak in All-American - American this week by beating the Red Devils, 44-19. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Leopards.
Lakeview's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Erich Schmitt threw for 143 and one touchdown and Elijah Henderson had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Henderson chipped in 114 yards. Ryan Pishotti helped Lakeview's passing attack out by catching two balls for 39 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Tony Chiacchiero and Scott Davidson Jefferson Area has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Chiacchiero leads the league in passing with 812 yards, while Davidson has rushed for 518 yards this season. The Bulldogs' Henderson leads the league in receiving yards with 281 on 23 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Lakeview takes on the Falcons. The Bulldogs are currently in second, while Jefferson Area is in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Lakeview and Jim Henson's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Bulldogs comes in having scored 124 this season, while the Falcons have scored 112. Lakeview scored 28 points last week as it bested LaBrae.
Liberty moved up to 214 from 288 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 44-19 win over Memorial helped the Leopards improve their standing.
