The Palisade Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Saturday with ease, bagging a 47-20 victory over Forge Christian. The win was nothing new for Palisade as they're now sitting on three straight.
Palisade got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mady Bavor out in front who scored 14 points along with three steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Bavor. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Simons, who scored 15 points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Forge Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Palisade racked up 16 assists.
Palisade's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Forge Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Palisade will be playing in front of their home fans against Grand Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Grand Junction focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Saturday. Forge Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bishop Machebeuf at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. Bishop Machebeuf will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
