Colbert Heights is 9-1 against Sheffield since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Colbert Heights Wildcats will host the Sheffield Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m.

While Colbert Heights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over Sheffield on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

For Sheffield's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylen Gangar, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Gangar has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Sheffield's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Colbert Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
