The biggest upset of the week belonged to Worth County, who took down 174th ranked Worth County, 40-14.
Monroe was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in AAAA Region 1. The Tornadoes vanquished Albany 12-0 earlier in the week.
Thanks to the talents of T.J. Cromer and Dalviness Greene Westover has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Cromer leads the league in passing with 619 yards, while Greene has rushed for 406 yards this season. The Indians' Rantiez Williams leads the league in receiving yards with 140 on nine catches.
Americus-Sumter moved up to 142 from 193 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of a 40-14 win over the Rams.
