The Collins Tigers won the last time they faced the Richton Rebels, and things went their way on Friday too. Collins strolled past Richton with points to spare, taking the game 28-12.
Collins got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maurio Luvine out in front who picked up 70 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Collins also got a significant boost from Donte Booth, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
Collins' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Richton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collins will challenge Heidelberg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richton, they will head out on the road to face off against Mize at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mize has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 153 points over their last four contests.
