Shawano Community and Seymour are an even 5-5 against one another  since September of 2019, but  not for long. The Hawks will head out on the road to  face off against  the Thunder  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Shawano Community took a loss when they played away from home  last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on New London with a sharp  3-0 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.
 Shawano Community not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept New London between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20,  25-18.
Shawano Community can attribute much of their success to   Jacey Cowden, who  had ten  digs and two  assists, and   Jozlyn Brocker, who  had six  digs. That's the most  digs  Brocker has posted since back in September.  Manihsaeh Boyd also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
 Shawano Community  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 11  aces in five consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile, Seymour was able to grind out a solid  win over Ashwaubenon on Monday, taking the game  3-1.
 Seymour walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 15-25, 25-19,  25-20.
 Shawano Community's record now sits at 14-18. As for Seymour,  the  win  got them back to even at 17-17.
 Shawano Community took their  victory against Seymour  in their previous matchup  back in September of 2024 by a conclusive  3-0 score. Do  the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Thunder turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
