The Okmulgee Bulldogs waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Webster on the road to the tune of 68-40. Given Okmulgee's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Webster is ranked 378th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hondo Avington and Corday Littlejohn certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Avington scored 15 points, while Littlejohn scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Okmulgee now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Webster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Okmulgee will be playing in front of their home fans against Cascia Hall at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cascia Hall will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Webster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
