Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davis). They put the hurt on the Weber Warriors with a sharp 18-2 win on Tuesday. The Darts are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.
Serena Roth looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Chloe Peery was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Libby Miller was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Davis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Weber only posted an OBP of .353.
