The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy in their matchups with Tanner: they've now lost seven in a row.
Tanner's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Endymion Tyus led the charge by scoring 17 points along with five steals. Tyus has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Eliyjah Jones, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Lindsay Lane Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season. As for Tanner, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Clements the next time they take the court. Tanner will head out to face Clements at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lindsay Lane Christian Academy will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
