Tracy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Monterey Trail Mustangs by a score of 4-1. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.
Hayden Fell made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other pitching news, Elisa Galli tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game.
Fell wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Munoz, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Munoz hit this season. Another was Ava Crivello, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Kimball knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Tracy likes a good challenge. As for Monterey Trail, they will challenge Cordova at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cordova is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
