Fort Edward will look to defend their home turf on Saturday against Whitehall at 1:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Fort Edward, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Fort Edward had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a serious blow against Canajoharie last Friday, falling 7-46. Fort Edward were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Meanwhile, Whitehall couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 32-52 fall.
The losses dropped both teams to 0-1. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
