Earle dropped down to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. The  game between the Bulldogs and the East Poinsett County Warriors didn't end well, with the Bulldogs falling  40-22. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing  36-26 to the Warriors when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for East Poinsett County, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 40.8 points over those games.
 This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to  Jacob Gaines and  Dee Buchanan. Gaines gained 147 total yards and three touchdowns while  Buchanan rushed for 118 yards and a pair of  TDs.
