Logan/Palco came into Tuesday's match having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Western Plains Bobcats 2-1. For Logan/Palco, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win Western Plains walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Logan/Palco had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Lylah Voss paced Logan/Palco's offense, picking up five kills. Voss got some help from Breyer Delimont and her nine assists. Jayla Traxler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Logan/Palco's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-17. As for Western Plains, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5-1.

Coincidentally, Logan/Palco and Western Plains will both be playing Quinter the next time they take the court. Logan/Palco will head out to face Quinter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Western Plains will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
