After flying high against the Southern Christian Patriots on Friday, the East Central HomeSchool Patriots came back down to earth. East Central HomeSchool lost to Wiregrass on the road by a decisive 73-58 margin on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Wiregrass got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Strickland out in front who scored 23 points. Strickland is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Treadaway, who scored 20 points.
East Central HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Wiregrass, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
