MAST Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westland Hialeah Wildcats. One positive for the Makos, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

MAST Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westland Hialeah, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

MAST Academy will challenge Victory Charter School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westland Hialeah, they are taking a road trip to challenge Coral Park at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.4 points per game this season.
