St. Michael the Archangel will be playing at home against Pierce City at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as St. Michael the Archangel skips in on three wins and Pierce City on six.
St. Michael the Archangel got themselves on the board against Drexel/Miami last Friday, but Drexel/Miami never followed suit. St. Michael the Archangel took the contest and then some with a 41-0 win over Drexel/Miami. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0.
Meanwhile, Pierce City got themselves on the board against Marionville, but Marionville never followed suit. Pierce City put the hurt on Marionville with a sharp 26-0 victory. Followers of Pierce City probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
Their wins bumped Pierce City to 6-0 and St. Michael the Archangel to 3-3. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
