The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Flomaton and bumps their season record up to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
