On Friday Mangum take on Walters at 7:30 PM. Mangum is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Mangum had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They suffered a grim 0-32 defeat to Ringling last Friday.
Walters had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor with a 42-14 margin. They was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Walters's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Mangum's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Walters' success rolls on or if Mangum are able to steal their positive momentum.
