The Lemmon Cowboys will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Harding County Ranchers at 7:00 p.m. Lemmon will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Tuesday, Lemmon slipped by Wakpala 51-50.
Harding County suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Dupree by a score of 54-52.
Harding County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Cohen Smith, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds, and Brennan Glines who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smith has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarett Schuchard, who scored four points along with two blocks.
Lemmon's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Harding County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Lemmon suffered a grim 70-44 defeat to Harding County in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Thankfully for Lemmon, Keegan Hett (who scored 31 points along with nine rebounds and six assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
