Los Osos has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to face off against the Upland Highlanders/Scots at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Upland took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Los Osos, who comes in off a win.

Los Osos had won four straight home games and Josslyn Jacks did her part to make it five on Tuesday. The Grizzlies blew past Rancho Cucamonga 3-0 with plenty of help from Jacks, who had 12 kills, ten aces, and eight digs. Jacks is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least nine every time she's taken the court this season.
The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-15.
Los Osos' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Taylor, who had ten kills, six digs, and one block. Annaly Landeros was another key player, getting 16 digs and two aces.
Meanwhile, Upland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to St. Lucy's. While the Highlanders/Scots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Regents 25-14 in the first set.
Upland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-19, 25-12, 25-20.
Los Osos' record now sits at 16-5. As for Upland, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Los Osos might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Upland when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Grizzlies, Addison Contreras (who had 20 digs and five assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
