While Wausau West's win against Tomah wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Timberwolves on Saturday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Wausau West's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Tomah, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wausau West will challenge Marshfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.14 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Tomah, they will host La Crosse Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
