Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayne Memorial). They claimed a resounding 82-50 victory over the Franklin Patriots. The Zebras are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wayne Memorial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carlos Medlock Jr, who went 8 for 17 en route to 18 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Medlock Jr has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Tory, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Wayne Memorial smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.
Despite the loss, Franklin still got an impressive performance from Dominic Goines, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc to rack up 19 points and five boards.
