Leesburg dropped to 5-7 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs, falling 14-2. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Yellow Jackets couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Mount Dora Christian Academy's side, Sydney Farr spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Farr.
At the plate, Lily Bryant and Jayla Roberts did most of the damage at the plate: Bryant got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Roberts went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Roberts has posted since back in March.
