Columbus Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They got past Porter's Chapel Academy with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 14-8. After losing to Porter's Chapel Academy the last time they met, Columbus Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. This was the first game for both teams, giving Columbus Christian Academy a 1-0 record and starting Porter's Chapel Academy off at 0-1.
Next week, Columbus Christian Academy take on Kirk Academy . As for Porter's Chapel Academy, they will face of against Riverfield Academy.
