The Randle Lions waltzed into their game on Friday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 40-39 win over Fort Bend Willowridge. This was payback for Randle, who suffered a 39-33 loss the last time these two teams met.
Among those leading the charge was Jalissa King, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ifemena Nwora, who scored four points along with three steals.
Randle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-8.
Randle will head out on the road to square off against Fort Bend Kempner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Fort Bend Kempner: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Randle has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. Fort Bend Willowridge will take on Foster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
