It was a good run, but The Dalles Riverhawks unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Stayton 60-54. The Dalles was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Stayton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Ean Dillingham, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Kaden Holm, who scored four points along with 14 rebounds and three blocks.
The Dalles' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Stayton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
The Dalles will be playing in front of their home fans against North Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Marion is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Stayton, they will challenge Molalla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
