The contest between Banff and The Connection School of Houston wasn't particularly close, with Banff falling 48-34. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Banff in their matchups with The Connection School of Houston: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaden Orideatu, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Anthony Perla was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The Connection School of Houston's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Senofsky, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Senofsky has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Felippe Weesner, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Banff bumped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for The Connection School of Houston, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-5.
Banff will take on Humble Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Humble Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Saturday. As for The Connection School of Houston, they will head out on the road to square off against Faith Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
