After two games on the road, Branchville is heading back home. They will take on the North Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Branchville beat Lake Marion 51-46.
Branchville found their leader in underclassman Kyran Glover, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Sheppard, who scored 8 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, North entered their tilt with Bethune-Bowman with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. North came out on top against Bethune-Bowman by a score of 72-65 on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds. S Stacks was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 5 steals.
The losses dropped Branchville to 1-1 and Lake Marion to 0-2.
