Atkins wouldn't let Conway Christian keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Atkins can thank John Davis and Dayton Rawlings for forcing both of them. Davis is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last 13 games he's played dating back to last season.
Even though they lost, Atkins was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 213 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 208 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 26-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Baptist Prep.
Having lost for the first time this season, Atkins fell to 2-1. As for Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
