Moulton is 7-0 against Runge since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Moulton proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 31) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Pettus and snuck past 34-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Moulton has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Runge, who are still winless after their ninth match. They were outmatched by Pettus on the road and fell 64-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Runge has suffered yet this season.
Moulton pushed their record up to 20-8 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Runge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
Moulton strolled past Runge in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 33-15. The rematch might be a little tougher for Moulton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
