Northeastern can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They blew past Hagerstown 70-32 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Northeastern as they're now sitting on four straight.
Northeastern's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Scarrette, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds. Scarrette hasn't dropped below 20 points for four straight games. Dae Lundy was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Union County beat the Golden Eagles 57-52 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Union County.
Northeastern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Union County, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Everything came up roses for Northeastern against the Patriots in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 as the squad secured a 66-33 win. With Northeastern ahead 45-18 at the half, the match was all but over already.
