No team in college football has more recruiting momentum right now than the California Golden Bears, who landed commitments from defensive linemen
Todd Barr and
Jason Gibson on Monday.

Jason Gibson is on his way to Cal.
Barr, a standout at
Lakewood (Calif.), is the nation's No. 6 defensive tackle according to Tom Lemming. He enjoyed an All-American-caliber season for the Lancers, finishing with 20 sacks and three forced fumbles.
With his size (6-foot-3, 265 pounds), Barr could play on the interior for head coach Jeff Tedford.
Also a top defensive player in Southern California, Gibson also pledged to Cal, giving the Golden Bears another fierce pass-rusher.
Gibson registered 83 tackles and 12.5 sacks for
Serra (Gardena), which will represent SoCal in the Division II Bowl Game on Saturday against Folsom.
News of the commitments comes days after Cal gained a pledge from running back
Brendon Bigelow, who was previously committed to Washington.
Barr and Gibson will be joined by another California product on the defensive line,
Cathedral Catholic's (San Diego) Mustafa Jalil.
