Halls and Heritage are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Halls Red Devils will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Heritage Mountaineers at 7:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Halls and five for Heritage.
Halls pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anderson County.
Halls' defeat came about despite a quality game from Grayson Bishop, who scored 19 points. Bishop continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jake Lane was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Meanwhile, Heritage suffered a tough 67-41 loss at the hands of Sevier County on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Heritage in their matchups with Sevier County: they've now lost five in a row.
The losses dropped Halls to 1-3 and Anderson County to 2-3.
