Softball Recap: Northwestern Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northwestern waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Milton-Union Bulldogs by a score of 6-3.

Sophia Pamer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Azzy Hammer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ellee Hughes, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Northwestern's record now sits at 16-9. As for Milton-Union, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 15-8.

Northwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milton-Union, they will take on Bradford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
