Volleyball Recap: Salem Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After losing to Bunker the last time they met, Salem decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers skirted past the Eagles 3-2. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Eagles on their court since September 25, 2017.

Salem wouldn't go down easily and took Bunker into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-12, 23-25, 15-11.

Salem's win ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-16-1. As for Bunker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16-2 record this season.

Salem wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Cabool on the 7th. As for Bunker, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against South Iron on the 9th.
