While Lemoore might've come up empty on Friday, Nick Johnson wasn't going down without a fight. Johnson was dynamite, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
