Basketball Recap: Eli Brown Key Part of a Team Effort in Feet Win

There's no place like home for The Webb School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 52-43 win over the Franklin Road Academy Panthers on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-59 back in January.

The Webb School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Brown, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. That's the most boards Brown has posted since back in December of 2024. Joel Wyatt was another key player, putting up seven points and nine rebounds.

The Webb School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Franklin Road Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-16.

When The Webb School and Franklin Road Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Webb School will try to stop Providence Christian Academy's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Webb School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.7 points per game this season. Similarly, Franklin Road Academy will take on University School of Nashville and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
