The Heritage Mountaineers were the 65-57 winner over the Halls Red Devils when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Heritage took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Halls on Thursday. Heritage's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it six in a row.
Chandler Gamble was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds for Halls. Jake Lane was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 3 steals.
Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Halls, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Heritage will head out on the road to face off against Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Seymour is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Halls will take on Gibbs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Gibbs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
