Burke scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances, while Moore scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those four runs gave Burke a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Doyle, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
West Florida Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Rocky Bayou Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .561.
