4A Special District 1 recap Oct. 30, 2012
Ridgeview's Reece Rollins rumbled for the longest rushing play in 4A Special District 1 this season in his game against Summit last week. Rollins ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 130 on the day as his team defeated the Storm.
Ridgeview took down Summit 46-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jacob Johnson threw for 66 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Andy Codding's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Boomer Fleming chipped in 152 yards. Connor McCreary helped Ridgeview's passing attack out by catching one ball for nine yards.
Jack Bowman was the best wideout in the league this week as the Ravens defeated Joe Padilla's team. Bowman racked up four receptions for 57 yards.
On the ground, Ridgeview's Fleming has rushed for 1280 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bowman. The Ridgeview star has 21 catches for 484 yards.
The Ravens led 4A Special District 1 in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on the Storm. Johnson in the win.
