After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Antelope, Palo Verde was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They pulled ahead with  a  16-15 photo finish over the Rincon/University Rangers. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the   20-6 defeat the Rangers walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September of 2023.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Palo Verde's defense and their ten sacks. It was truly a group effort as  Gabriel Pratoomratana,  Devin Fraijo, and  Logen Ballard picked up two apiece. Pratoomratana is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in the last four games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Although Rincon/University took the loss, they still got scores from  Aaron Carson and  Daniel Barajas.
 Palo Verde's victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-1. As for Rincon/University, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palo Verde will take on Coronado at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Palo Verde focused on turnovers this week  as team gave up four on Friday. As for Rincon/University, they will challenge Safford at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
