Christ Chapel Academy stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over Dominion Christian. Winning may never get old, but Christ Chapel Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christ Chapel Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zaria Gaskins, who scored 23 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Gaskins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Brantley, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine steals.
Christ Chapel Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Dominion Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Christ Chapel Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dominion Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
