The Eastern Tech Mavericks had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 73-36 win over Lansdowne at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Eastern Tech also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Eastern Tech got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jericho Wondeye out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Adrian Pefianco was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Eastern Tech's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Lansdowne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern Tech's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Benjamin Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on December 11th. Lansdowne will take on North County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
