The Scottsbluff Bearcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 63-41 margin over Douglas.
Scottsbluff got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nate Kelley out in front who scored 15 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Keon Delgado, who scored 17 points.
Scottsbluff pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Douglas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scottsbluff's road trip will continue as they head out to face More at 5:20 p.m. on December 16th. More will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Douglas, they will head out on the road to face off against Rapid City Central at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rapid City Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
