Ashland is 9-1 against Dedham since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Clockers will welcome the Marauders at 4:30 p.m. Ashland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Ashland lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Holliston, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Clockers blew past the Panthers 12-1 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Clockers considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Jared Grunbaum made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Grunbaum was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Dedham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hopkinton.
Jack Haven was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Dedham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Dowling, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base.
Ashland's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Dedham, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
Ashland got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Dedham by a conclusive 10-3 score. Will the Clockers repeat their success, or do the Marauders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
