After two weeks on the road, Great Neck North/Great Neck South is heading back home. On Saturday they will take on Malverne at 1:00 PM. The odds don't look promising for Great Neck North/Great Neck South, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Great Neck North/Great Neck South weren't quite Friends Academy's equal in the second half when they met last Saturday. Great Neck North/Great Neck South suffered a grim 16-37 defeat to Friends Academy. Great Neck North/Great Neck South's loss continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it six losses in a row.
Meanwhile, Malverne came up short against Cold Spring Harbor, falling 14-27.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
