The team also got some help courtesy of Truman Rowland, who posted ten points and five rebounds.
Laurens Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for New Covenant School, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-5.
Laurens Academy will welcome Oakbrook Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Covenant School, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-31 victory against Greenville Classical Academy on the 24th.
