Gavin Briggs Delivers Best Effort of Season
Gavin Briggs produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lake Havasu to the win on Friday. Briggs rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 80 receiving yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made eight total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
This year, Briggs has thrown 2 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 17.6 passing yards per game.

Big Game from Little As Thunderbird Won 27-10
Elijah Little put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September on Friday. He rushed for 267 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 196 rushing yards.
St. Mary's probably not too fond of Little given he always seems to get the better of them. When Little last faced the Knights back in November of 2023, he rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.

Hunter Hancock Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Hunter Hancock produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Yuma Catholic to the win on Friday. Hancock picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 116 yards on only nine carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Yuma Catholic, bringing their record for this year to 9-1. Hancock and Yuma Catholic will host Combs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Wyatt Tribolet Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Wyatt Tribolet posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made seven total tackles. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.
This year, Tribolet has averaged 8.1 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 8.8 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 24.5 rushing yards.
